On 4th August 1967, in Poona, Maharashtra, India, Salim Khan and Sushila Charak (aka Salma Khan) brought their son Arbaaz Khan into this world. His father is a successful screenwriter. You can say that Arbaaz Khan was born and raised into the family in which veins runs Bollywood bood, because his brothers, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan are also actors and Indian film producers, his sister Alvira Khan is an Indian film producer and fashion designer, his step-sister Arpita Khan is an actress and an interior designer, his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri is an Indian film actor, producer, and director, and his stepmother Helen is a famous Bollywood dancer.

Khan attended the Scindia School, situated in the historic Gwalior Fort. Ever since he was a little boy, he wanted to become a filmstar.

In 1996, Khan got his debut role playing a psychotic wife-beater in an Indian romantic thriller film Daraar. Because of his performance, he received the Filmfare Award for the Best Villain. However, he was never too successful with his solo films. Often, he acted opposite his brother Salman Khan, in hit films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), Hello Brother (1999), and Garc: Pride and Honour (2004). His other villainous role was in the film Wayamat: City Under Threat (2003). He played some supporting roles in films including Hulchul (2004), Malamaal Weekly (2006), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), and Fool and Final (2007). He playing alongside his other brother, Sohail Khan, in the blockbuster Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) and Kisaan (2009). So far, Khan was a part of 54 films. He played the main villain in the Telugu movie Jai Chiranjeeva in 2005.

In 2010, Khan made his debut in film production. The first film he produced was a Hindi-language action-comedy Dabangg, under Arbaaz Khan Productions. His brother Salman Khan starred in the leading role as the anti-hero Chulbul Pandey. The film broke several box office records and became the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. Two years later, Khan made his directorial debut with the sequel Dabangg 2.

In 1998, Arbaaz Khan married model and actress Malaika Arora. The couple shares a son Arhaan Khan, who was born in 2012. Four years later, they announced their separation. The marriage was officially over in 2017. Since 2018, Khan has been dating Georgia Andriani.
