Performing a number of tests led us to conclude that the Powerex Precharged AA batteries showed a great result in all of the experiments. Out of a total of 2600 mAh of stated capacity, these batteries had around 2470mAh. This is an excellent amount of capacity for batteries.

When we talk about the pure form of magnitude and capacity, these batteries had almost 25% more of it than compared to other battery brands that we chose.

However, for such features and a battery this good, you have to pay a few extra bucks. Therefore, if you are on a strict budget and cannot afford this, then the Powerex Precharged AA batteries are not the perfect choice for you.

When compared to other batteries available on the market, this one costs around almost a dollar extra than the rest. This makes a pretty huge difference when you are adding up and especially if you want to buy the batteries in bulk.

However, I you want batteries that provide you with some extra capacity, and you are willing to pay more for it, then these batteries must be you pick. However, you can easily use a more affordable option for your day to day and around the house tasks.

The Duracell batteries were another great pick. Most of the tests we performed with these batteries were very successful. Moreover, these were the only batteries available on the market that had a higher capacity than what was mentioned on their packaging.

The capacity was around 2473 mAh whereas the packaging claimed it to be 2400 mAh. Thus, a higher capacity becomes very useful.

However, despite their claims of a relatively high capacity, these batteries scored a sixth position in our flashlight test. It is pretty surprising to know that they only lasted for around 2 hours and 43 minutes. There are a lot of batteries out there that last for a longer time period than this.

The Duracell batteries are pretty famous and have a pretty decent fan base in the market. Moreover, these batteries are also easily available and you won’t have to face much hassle while purchasing them.

Despite their common use, their retail price is almost 45 cents greater than the rest of the brands. However, the Duracell batteries are still very affordable as compared to most of the other battery brands.

It was found that the EBL AA Rechargeable batteries were the most affordable ones out of all the brands. In addition to this, these batteries also had the highest capacity of about 2487 mAh (3 Wb). Isn’t this one the most wonderful feature that you could get in a product? This is an excellent deal that you must avail – highest capacity in the most affordable price!

These batteries made it to the list of the best batteries by the difference of a good 15%. However, there is a huge difference between a high capacity and a product’s durability.

These EBL AA Rechargeable batteries may have a good capacity but they are not lasting. So you may not get your money’s worth if the batteries won’t last you for a good amount of time.

Moreover, the EBL cycle claims are all haywire and the company does not seem to keep a good track of it. In some places, these cycle claims are 1200 while they are around 1500 in others. Such fluctuations may make the customer lose their trust in a product.

The Panasonic Eneloop batteries have a higher capacity and a lower cycle life as compared to the AA Eneloop batteries. Other than that there is not much difference between the two batteries. It has 2550 mAh and 500 cycles when compared to the standard of 2000 mAh and 2100 cycles.

In addition to this, the Eneloop Pro is also the most expensive. Moreover, together with the high cost, it provides only 10% more available capacity. This may not be a great thing since most of the batteries usually have 25% more.

Higher capacity and a lower life cycle may be good in only some cases for example in the case of the photographer. However, most of the time this is not true and such a battery may be very inconvenient to use.

It is interesting to know that the AA AmazonBasics Rechargeable Batteries and the IKEA Ladda batteries are manufactured by the same company – Panasonic.

However, this does not mean that both these batteries are the same. After performing a number of tests, it was observed that the AmazonBasics AA batteries were quite similar to Eneloop Pro batteries. However, the IKEA Ladda batteries were a little different.

It was then concluded that both these low-priced brands might be using different materials or older designs to create their batteries whereas the Eneloop ones use the latest stuff. Now it all depends on what type of battery you can afford.
